How to set mandatory completion deadlines for content within CPDone

There may be some items that you need to ensure are completed by certain groups by a particular date, regardless of individuals' membership renewal dates. This works for both regular items in the CPDone catalogue, and for internally-uploaded content.

To set a mandatory completion deadline:

  1. Go to Learn -> Content.

  2. Find the item that requires a deadline, and click the Groups action link in the rightmost column of the grid (a popup window will appear).

  3. Set the Completion Deadline field for any relevant groups. You can set a different date for each group, if required.

 

 

This will result in a "Content You Must Complete" pane being displayed on the dashboard screen for every user in the chosen groups who has not yet completed all assigned mandatory content.
